Press it and the top of Ferruccio Laviani's 2026 desk for i4Mariani opens a scene: an ultra-thin 18.5-inch LCD monitor rises, motorized, and tilts into working position — connected to your desktop or laptop, silent by engineering. Press again and it descends behind a brushed aluminum cover, and the desk goes back to pretending it never happened.

The stage itself is a single decisive format: 320 by 120 centimeters, a 3 cm top — veneered or in saddle leather — on a trapezoid base — dark brown stained rosewood as the standard veneer, saddle leather or leather-color lacquer from the PS and PF collections on the base. i4Mariani declares the piece transversal: executive desk, meeting table, «or a fully-fledged dining table».
