Why does a named RAL code matter on a desk?
Because it removes interpretation. White and black still leave room for argument between a factory, a designer and a client; RAL 1019 does not. On a project with several rooms, or on a reorder years later, that code is what guarantees the second desk matches the first.
Is the painted glass coloured through or on the surface?
The manufacturer specifies extra-clear glass, 15 mm, available transparent or painted in those three options. Details of the coating and its care belong to the manufacturer's documentation, which we supply with the quotation.
Does painted glass still read as glass?
Yes, in the way it reflects and in the crispness of the edge, but it stops being transparent: the leg and the floor below no longer show through. That is precisely why the transparent option exists alongside it.
Can the same colour appear elsewhere in the room?
Cabinet fronts can be coupled with a painted glass plate, so the same treatment can travel from the desk to the storage. Confirm the exact match with the manufacturer's documentation before it goes into a specification.
What are the desk sizes?
