The X9 executive desk by Quadrifoglio builds it in: a multi-purpose box with a cable bay closed by an aluminum flap with brush pass-through, a lower shelf that takes the briefcase and the CPU, and a load-bearing three-drawer unit with a stationery tray. Power strips, chargers, bags — everything gets an address, and the desktop stays clear for the actual work.
Designed by Gabriel & Polloni Associati, X9 pairs veneered tops in gray elm, American walnut or striped ebony with a steel frame in matte white or umbra gray; a leather-effect inlay with tone-on-tone stitching is optional. Freestanding desks run 63.4 to 87 inches wide, and return compositions reach 91.3 inches across a 92-inch depth — scale that fits American corner offices.

Tops: 0.7-inch MDF core with real wood veneer, folding-worked longitudinal edges forming a 2-inch band from a single piece, wood lipping, radiused corners, open-pore matte clear lacquer.
Finishes: gray elm, American walnut, striped ebony veneers; optional leather-effect inlay (about 1/20 in thick) in red, anthracite, brown or black with tone-on-tone decorative stitching.
Frame: epoxy powder-coated pickled steel, matte white or umbra gray; leg cross-section growing from 1.2 × 1.3 in to 2.5 × 2.2 in with 5/32-inch plate; fixed beam 1.8 × 1.2 in; leveling feet with 1/4-inch adjustment.
Multi-purpose box: veneered or matte-lacquered, with top cable bay behind an aluminum flap with brush pass-through, lower shelf for bags and CPU, three-drawer pedestal plus stationery tray; outer back in veneer, lacquer or anti-fingerprint metal.
Mobile pedestal: 17.9 × 23 × H 22.9 in, recessed 2-inch casters, full-extension ball-bearing runners with soft-close and anti-tip system.
