Every American company knows the difference between a meeting and a board meeting. One fits anywhere; the other needs a table that holds the whole room — every director, every advisor, no overflow chairs along the wall. Arche builds that table: rectangular tops scaling to 480 cm and eighteen seats, with leather inserts set flush into the surface — the detail Bralco calls the distinguishing touch of the range — and flip-lid power units where laptops actually sit.

The family scales down as deliberately as it scales up: 320 cm for twelve, the 160 square for eight, a ø 120 round for the four-person huddle. And at the head of the floor stands the matching executive desk by Gianantonio Perin and Giorgio Topan — top bordered by a mitred frame, tapered portal legs in veneered solid wood, a sliding leather pad that opens a concealed, electrifiable tray for what shouldn't sit in view during a negotiation.

Front screens in three heights dose the privacy; sideboards, wardrobes to 270 cm and pedestals carry the same palette — nine oaks, two of them exclusive to Arche, plus lacquers, ecomalta and back-lacquered tempered glass in four curated moods. La Mercanti configures the suite to the floor plan and coordinates White-Glove delivery across the US. When the full board convenes, the furniture is already unanimous.

FAQ

How many people does the largest Arche table really seat?
Eighteen, on a 480 cm rectangular top — a genuine full-board table, not a stretched compromise. Mid-sizes run 320 cm for twelve and 240-276 for eight to ten, so each floor gets the size its governance actually uses.
What is the leather insert on the tables for?
It marks the working zone and softens the surface where papers and hands rest — Bralco calls it the distinguishing touch of Arche meeting tables. Stitched, flush with the top, in ten leathers and eleven eco-leathers.
Does the matching desk hide anything?
Its best feature: the leather pad slides open over a concealed tray in the top — electrifiable, so the phone charges out of sight, with a sliding stationery holder inside — and closes flush. During negotiations the desk shows exactly what you choose to show.
How do tops and legs combine?
The portals are veneered solid wood, tapered from 12×4 cm to 1.8 and lacquered in the same palette as the tops — so you choose tone-on-tone calm or contrast through the two Arche-exclusive lacquers, titanium and dove grey. The steel is elsewhere: black epoxy beams joining the legs.
Who coordinates delivery and installation in the US?
La Mercanti configures the suite with Bralco, prepares documentation from the product page and coordinates White-Glove delivery through its US network; delivery terms are confirmed in writing at order confirmation.

How to plan a boardroom around the full board

Five sizing and staging decisions with the Arche system — seats, power, privacy, desk and palette — before the next quarterly lands.

Count seats, then add none
Chairs along the wall signal a table that failed. List voting members plus standing invitees and match the top: 160 for eight, 320 for twelve, 480 for eighteen.
Put power where laptops sit
Specify the flip-lid units along the actual seating pitch, not the table's centerline gaps — closed they vanish into the top, open they serve each pair of seats.
Give the chairman's desk its discretion
The sliding pad's compartment holds what shouldn't face a visitor: phone, keys, the unsigned file. Make it the desk's habit from day one.
Dose the privacy per office
Screens at 30, 38.5 or 50 cm — solid or louvred — decide what a visitor sees of the desk. Reception-facing rooms take the tall one; internal offices rarely need more than the low.
Lock one palette for the whole floor
Nine oaks — two exclusive to Arche — plus lacquers and leathers in four moods: choose once, repeat everywhere. Samples ship on request and their cost is fully credited at order confirmation.
