Nobody compliments a powder room on its tile layout. What people register, in the few seconds they are alone in there, is the object they touch. Icona is designed for that moment: solid brass, a single continuous curve, and nothing added that will look like a date stamp in five years.
Our position on this is not neutral. In a residence or a hospitality project, the faucet is the cheapest place to be genuinely generous and the most expensive place to economise, because it is the only element inspected at hand distance by everyone who enters. Classic carries a cross handle that reads as quietly traditional, Deco a tighter geometry that reads as contemporary; both refuse ornament. Designed by Vincent Van Duysen. La Mercanti supplies the two side by side, so the decision gets made in the hand.
