Walk the length of a vanity fitted with Flora and the handle will not look the same twice. Fantini puts it in one sentence: the particular cross-section of the handle offers an unexpected image depending on the viewpoint and the perspective. From the mirror it is one drawing, from the doorway another, from the tub a third. Vincent Van Duysen designed it three times over, to carry one “wing”, two or four, and Fantini treats that small part as the signature of the whole collection: tactile, ergonomic, never quite still.
That is a lot to ask of designer faucets, which mostly get judged straight on, from a catalog page. At the lavatory Flora comes three ways. A three-hole set flanks the spout with two handles; a single-hole faucet folds the controls into one soft-lined body; a wall-mount version clears the deck entirely. Underneath is brass, finished in Mokka, Chrome, Brushed Steel Look, Polished Nickel or Matt Gun Metal, and the finish carries across every element, down to the drain. In an executive and guest bathroom, where people stand at the sink for a minute and look around, a fitting that rewards a second glance earns its place.
Past the lavatory, the line follows what the water is for. To shower: concealed valves and thermostatic mixers, round showerheads on an arm or set flush into the ceiling, a handheld spray in its holder. To soak: tub fillers built into the wall, mounted on the deck or rising from the floor. For the bidet, a single-hole mixer. To cook: a kitchen faucet whose spout swivels, with a pull-out spray beside it. To rinse off by the pool: Flora Outdoor, a stainless steel shower column. La Mercanti brings the finish into the room’s own light before the specification is fixed.

1.3 gpm at 43.5 psi. Every Flora lavatory and bidet faucet leaves Fantini with a flow restrictor set to that figure. It is the maker’s declared value; what a local code requires is checked on the project against the manufacturer’s documentation.
You can order it at 5.9 in or 7.9 in. Which one is right depends on the sink, so the choice is made with the sink’s cut sheet on the table and before the rough-in goes into the wall.
Back to center. The 3/4″ thermostatic valves have a diverter that rests closed in the middle: turn it right and the first outlet opens, bring it back to center and the water stops, turn it left and the second and then the third outlet open in sequence.
Yes. It is a single-control filler with a .1 handle and a spout reaching 7.9 in and stands on its own foot. One control opens and closes the water and adjusts both flow and temperature, and a hand shower with its own holder is included.
That the Mokka tone “wraps spaces with warmth and naturalness”. It is one of the PVD finishes of the collection and, like the others, it is applied to every element, so a Mokka lavatory faucet can sit in a room with Mokka shower trim and a Mokka tub filler.
In the kitchen Flora is a faucet in several parts, so the countertop has to be drilled for it. Five steps to settle before the fabricator cuts the stone.
The two-handle Flora kitchen faucet needs four holes in the countertop: one for the swivel spout, two for the handles, one for the pull-out spray, which is a separate piece. Mark all four on the fabricator’s template.
Fantini lists a maximum deck thickness of 1.6 in for the kitchen faucet. Measure the finished countertop, build-up included, where the holes will go; a mitered edge can look thicker than the slab actually is.
With two handles you get ceramic valves that open in a 90° turn and a choice among the three Flora handle styles. The alternative is a three-hole, single-control version on a traditional cartridge, with an identical spout and spray.
The spout swivels and reaches 8.5 in over the sink. Check that arc against the sink drawing before the holes are cut.
The spray is a single-jet piece with an on/off button, and it pulls out of its own hole. Set it on the side of the hand that will use it. The faucet is limited to 2.1 gpm at 43.5 psi.
