In a corner office the executive chair is read before the person sitting in it. Musa Chair has one detail that does most of that reading: the closed armrests do not stop at the seat, they flow into a die-cast aluminium ring that wraps the seat and is itself partly padded and upholstered. ICF describes it as the visually striking element of the collection, and it is what separates a designed chair from an assembled one — a single continuous outline where most chairs show a joint.
The rest is built to support that impression rather than compete with it. The armrest's resting surface is soft integral polyurethane, which ICF links directly to durability; structure and tilting mechanism disappear inside a foam shell; the base repeats the finish of the structure in chrome, polished or painted aluminium. Available Low Back — the meeting version — High Back and With Headrest, in fabric, leather or category H Premium leather. La Mercanti specifies the collection for American executive interiors with the manufacturer's documentation attached.
