Every corner office has two spokespeople: the person and the chair. Visitors read the second one first. Jera Chair by Las Mobili, designed by Orlandini Design, is written for that reading — a modern executive chair, comfortable and enveloping, its clear, decisive shapes enhanced, in the manufacturer's words, by smooth upholstery or sewn bands. The quilted version layers a padded resin pad with 150 g/m² velvet backing under the cover and finishes it with hand-crafted, tone-on-tone stitching — tailoring you can sit in.
The range is a hierarchy in two back heights: high for the presidential desk — the Jera desk it was drawn to sit behind — with an optional headrest, low for meeting tables. Both share one enveloping monocoque — internal metal structure, cold-foamed flexible polyurethane at 70 ±5 kg/m³, CFC- and HCFC-free, flame-retardant Class 1 per manufacturer data — on a polished die-cast aluminum five-star base Ø 670 mm with self-braking Ø 50 mm twin-tread casters. Two mechanisms decide how it moves: GOL, free-floating tilt with gas lift and 360° swivel, or GOA, lockable in 4 positions with crank-adjusted tension and anti-shock release. Gas columns conform to DIN 4550 above level 4 — manufacturer data.
The family beyond the desk
Jera furnishes the whole executive floor: visitor chairs carry the same low-back shell on a die-cast pyramid base (520 x 520 mm, 360° swivel plate) or a chromed Ø 11 mm steel sled; the tub version serves the boardroom with a laterally hinged seat that tips up 93° for row stacking and an optional right-hand writing tablet with anti-panic joint. Upholstery comes from the LAS colour folder: eleven options across fabrics, Ecopelle and leather. Product certificates can be downloaded on this page.

Use and care: indoor use only, as a swivel office chair; hard casters on carpet, soft casters on hard floors; keep 11.8 in from heat sources, avoid direct sunlight
Think of the three heights as registers. High back reads presidential and ships with the padded seat cushion as standard; medium back is the everyday leadership chair — same cushion, plus it is the only one that accepts the optional upholstered headrest; low back works meeting tables, where the person should be taller than the chair. One monocoque language across all three lets a floor state hierarchy without mixing furniture families.
GOL is the no-settings chair: free-floating tilt with no intermediate or final locks, gas height adjustment, 360° swivel — you sit, it follows. GOA is for people who tune their seat: tilt lockable in 4 positions, tension set by crank, lock and release by lever with anti-shock system. Both use gas columns that conform to DIN 4550 above level 4, per manufacturer data.
A metal structure inside cold-foamed flexible polyurethane at 70 ±5 kg/m³ — CFC- and HCFC-free, flame-retardant Class 1, manufacturer data — plus a 35 mm seat cushion at 55 kg/m³. The quilted version interposes a padded resin layer with 150 g/m² velvet backing and finishes with hand-crafted tone-on-tone stitching. The enveloping softness has an engineered skeleton.
Yes — that is Jera's brief. Visitor chairs put the same low-back shell on a pyramid die-cast base with 360° swivel plate or on a chromed steel sled; the tub version lines the council room, its seat tipping up 93° on lateral hinges so rows can be stacked, with an optional anti-panic writing tablet for note-taking. The hierarchy is told by back heights, not by different chairs.
Fourteen coverings from the LAS colour folder — Poli, Ecopelle, Crepe, Stretch, Melange, Trevi, Lana, the Gabriel and Flukso fabric families, leather — plus customer's own material for projects with their own textile identity. Decide smooth versus quilted, then match casters to floors: hard on carpet, soft on stone or tile. Physical samples are available and their cost is fully credited at order confirmation.
For facility managers and designers: five Jera Chair decisions from the corner office to the boardroom.
High back for the presidential office, medium for everyday leadership — and the headrest option — low for meeting tables. The monocoque stays the same; the height does the talking.
GOL free tilt for the no-settings executive; GOA with 4 locking positions, crank tension and anti-shock lever for those who tune their chair. Gas columns conform to DIN 4550 above level 4 — manufacturer data.
Pyramid-base or sled visitor chairs in front of the desk; the tub version in the boardroom, with its 93° tip-up seat for row stacking and the optional anti-panic writing tablet for sessions that need notes.
Smooth or quilted — the quilted with velvet-backed padding and tone-on-tone stitching — across fourteen coverings including leather and customer's own fabric. Then pick casters by floor: hard on carpet, soft on hard surfaces.
Approve physical samples under your own lighting — their cost is fully credited at order confirmation — then lock back heights, mechanisms, coverings and caster types in writing before production.
