Corner offices have a dress code, and the chair is part of it. Lead by Las Mobili, designed by Progetto CMR — Giacobone & Roj, is written for that code — an executive chair the manufacturer presents as an icon, a symbol of leadership and authority that, in Las Mobili’s words, communicates the user’s position and the function of the environment in which it is set. Watch it work a full executive floor: at the desk it rides the five-star swivel base on Ø 65 mm self-braking twin-tread casters; across the desk it receives visitors on the aluminum pyramid base — four spokes, Ø 680 mm, rubber glides; in the boardroom it stands on the ash wood pyramid, stained walnut or black, felt pads under a nickel-finish swivel plate.
The signature material is die-cast aluminum — the five-star base Ø 700 mm, polished or painted black, and the BFC4 armrest cast from the same metal, with the padded, upholstered BFT armrest as the softer option. Rank is set by the backrest: high 117–127 cm, medium 98–108 cm, low 80–90 cm — manufacturer data — all sharing one construction of beech-poplar plywood shells and fire-retardant expanded polyurethane declared by the producer, 100 mm deep in the backrest core at 35 kg/m³ and 55 mm in the seat at 40 kg/m³.
Specified per sitter
Two mechanisms, both on DIN 4550 gas columns above level 4 (manufacturer data): G1 keeps it essential with a chromed swivel plate, gas lift and 360° rotation; GY1 Gas Syncron synchronizes seat and back, locks in 4 positions, tunes tension to body weight by knob and releases through an anti-shock lever. Upholstery runs to fourteen options from the LAS colour folder — Ecopelle and Supreme with Aquaclean treatment through Grain by Gabriel, leather and customer’s own fabric — under a five-year warranty declared by the manufacturer (coverings three years, padding two). Product certificates can be downloaded on this page.

By declared centimetres: 117–127 cm total height reads presidential, 98–108 cm serves everyday leadership, 80–90 cm sits at meeting tables and guest positions, where the chair should stay below the conversation. Manufacturer data, one construction — the hierarchy is written in backrest height, not in mismatched furniture.
G1 is the no-settings executive mechanism: chromed die-cast swivel plate fixed to the seat, gas lift lever, 360° rotation. GY1 Gas Syncron moves seat and backrest together, locks in 4 positions, tunes tension to body weight via knob and releases through an anti-shock lever. Both ride gas columns complying with DIN 4550 above level 4, per manufacturer data — specify per sitter, not per floor.
By the voice the chair should have. BFC4 in polished or black die-cast aluminum matches the base and shows the metal; BFT is shaped, padded and upholstered — plywood core, fire-retardant polyurethane per manufacturer data — so fabric or leather continues over the arm. The padded option also raises fabric use from 1.85 to 2.45 m on the high back, declared by the producer.
Because the executive floor has three rooms. The Ø 700 mm five-star swivel on Ø 65 mm self-braking casters works the desk; the Ø 680 mm aluminum pyramid on rubber glides receives guests with gas lift and 360°; the ash wood pyramid — walnut-stained or black, felt pads, nickel swivel plate — takes the same shell to the boardroom with an architectural, warmer foot. One language across the suite.
Fourteen from the LAS colour folder: Ecopelle, Time, One, Melange, Lana, Nautilus, Sealife, Mixage, Poseidon, Supreme — with Aquaclean and Safe Front treatments declared by the producer — Grain by Gabriel, Ally by Flukso, leather and customer's own fabric. Las Mobili declares a five-year warranty (coverings three, padding two). Physical samples are available; their cost is fully credited at order confirmation.
For facility managers and designers: five decisions that keep one icon coherent from desk to boardroom.
117–127 cm high back for the corner office, 98–108 cm for everyday leadership, 80–90 cm for meeting and guest seats. Declared data, one construction — the hierarchy reads itself.
G1 for zero settings — gas lift, 360°; GY1 Gas Syncron for those who recline: synchronized ride, 4 locks, weight-tuned knob, anti-shock lever. DIN 4550 columns above level 4, manufacturer data.
Polished or black die-cast aluminum (BFC4) where the metal should show; padded and upholstered (BFT) where the covering should continue over the arm. Match base and armrest finishes.
Five-star swivel on casters at the desk, aluminum pyramid on rubber glides for guests, ash wood pyramid on felt pads in the boardroom. Casters by floor: hard on carpet, soft on stone.
Approve physical samples under your own light — the cost is fully credited at order confirmation — then lock heights, mechanisms, armrests, bases and coverings in writing.
