American boardroom drawings are dimensioned in feet and inches, and Italian furniture usually arrives in centimeters. The technical sheet for Corniche carries both: 236 1/4 in. by 94 1/2 in., with a 29 1/8 in. top height, next to the metric 600 by 240 at 74. Nothing has to be converted twice on the way to a floor plan.

What those inches contain is a conference table drawn for fourteen people, each with a saddle leather insert set flush into the veneer and an electrical box of their own; the base is a cabinet, already prepared for cable runs. Veined black walnut is the standard veneer. La Mercanti ships it to executive floors across the United States with the drawings in the units the project already speaks.

FAQ

Is the table drawn in inches or centimeters?
Both. The manufacturer's sheet gives 236 1/4 in. by 94 1/2 in. at a 29 1/8 in. height alongside the metric 600 by 240 at 74 cm, so the same document works for a US space plan and for the factory.
Will a 236-inch table fit through a standard elevator?
That is a building question, not a catalogue one, and it is settled on site: the dimensions above are the finished table. Send the drawings and the access route together, and the answer comes back before anything is ordered.
How many people does it actually seat?
Fourteen, and the table says so out loud: fourteen saddle leather inserts flush-mounted in the top, one for each position, each with its own electrical box.
What wood is standard?
Veined black walnut. It is the veneer listed as standard on the datasheet; other finishes are available on request rather than off the shelf.
Is there storage in the base?
Yes, the base is a cabinet with veneered doors and a black melamine internal frame, and it is the volume through which the cabling is routed.

How to plan a 236-inch conference table into a US floor plate

Five checks that keep an imported Italian boardroom table on schedule from drawing to install.

Read the sheet in your own units
The dimensions are published in inches and centimeters. Use the imperial figures on the space plan and keep the metric ones for the factory conversation.
Draw the clearance, not just the table
236 1/4 by 94 1/2 in. is the top. The room needs the pull-back for the armchairs and a walking line behind them.
Send the access route early
Corridors, elevators and door widths are decided by the building. Share them with the drawings so the delivery method is confirmed, in writing, at order.
Fix the power feed
Each seat has its own electrical box and the base is prepared for cabling, but the cables come from the project. Coordinate the floor box with the electrician.
Approve the walnut on a sample
Veined black walnut is the standard veneer, and grain reads differently under conference lighting. Approve the sample in the actual room.
