Bespoke: size, colour, finish

The conference table is the most photographed piece of furniture in the company — and the most cabled. I-Meet by Las Mobili, designed by Nikolas Chachamis, takes both facts seriously. The face: tops in 30 mm MDF with 3d-foil and smoothed corners — Grey Elm, Bali Walnut, Black, Wengé, White, Grey Beige — or 12 mm tempered glass rear-lacquered in Black, polished edges, held by steel plates bonded underneath so nothing interrupts the surface. The stance: 70 x 20 mm steel legs, matt black or polished chrome, on Ø 60 mm adjustable feet.

The growth plan: terminal and central legs combine along pre-drilled 50 x 20 mm beams with fast taper-screw connections, configuring square and rectangular tables for small and medium rooms up to the large board room. When the org chart changes, the table reconfigures instead of retiring.

The cable problem, solved as architecture

Under the top sits a wire management container — an MDF bay in the table finishes — where risers, cable runs, schuko, voice and data sockets anchor to an internal channel and excess cable disappears. Access from above via the dual-tilting aluminium top access (with or without built-in power, dust brush on both) or from the side via the snap-open panel — nobody crawls under the boardroom table mid-meeting. The family finishes the room: a credenza on ring-shaped legs and a lectern with chrome-effect trim and cable-ways. Product certificates can be downloaded on this page.

FAQ

Can one table family really serve huddle rooms and the boardroom?

Yes — that is the module logic. Terminal and central legs combine along pre-drilled 50 x 20 mm beams, assembled with fast taper-screw connections, into square or rectangular tables of any practical length: four seats in a huddle room, a full council table in the board room. One palette, one leg geometry, so the meeting floor reads as one project.

How does I-Meet handle the cables every conference room fights?

With a dedicated technical bay under the top: an MDF wire management container, finished like the table, where risers and cable runs live and schuko, voice and data sockets anchor to an internal channel. Service it from above through the top access, or from the side through the snap-open panel. The result is the rarest thing in conference rooms: a table with power everywhere and no cable in sight.

Black glass or 3d-foil wood — how do we pick?

By the room's job. The 12 mm rear-lacquered tempered glass — polished edges, steel plates bonded underneath, no visible fixings — with polished chrome legs is the representation register for client-facing rooms. The 30 mm 3d-foil tops in Grey Elm, Bali Walnut, Wengé and the neutrals are the warmer, harder-working register for internal rooms. Structure and wire bay are identical beneath both.

Should we order the top access with or without sockets?

Per room. With sockets, power and charging surface exactly where laptops sit — the boardroom that never hunts for an outlet. Without, you get a clean aluminum lid over the bay for rooms where the technology stays below deck. Both versions tilt open on a dual system and carry a black dust brush, so cables pass even with the lid closed.

What do the credenza and lectern add?

The rest of the meeting ritual. The credenza — 3D-foil fronts, chromed or black handle, ring-shaped legs in chrome or matt black — keeps catering, documents and spare equipment at hand height. The lectern with chrome-effect trim and integrated cable-ways makes the same room townhall-ready. One order, one language. Finish samples are available; the cost is fully credited at order confirmation.

How to spec a conference room that works before the meeting starts

For office managers and facilities: five I-Meet decisions for rooms where decisions happen.

Map rooms by seats and shape

Inventory the huddle rooms, mid-size rooms and the boardroom: I-Meet's terminal and central legs aggregate square and rectangular tables across all of them. Committing to the module logic first makes future reconfigurations an order line, not a renovation.

Put the power where the laptops are

Wire management container under every table; top access with sockets in rooms that live on laptops, socketless lids where the room runs on installed AV. The lateral snap-open panel is the service door facilities will actually use.

Pick the register per audience

Client-facing rooms: black rear-lacquered glass and polished chrome. Working rooms: 3d-foil in Bali Walnut, Grey Elm or Grey Beige with matt black. Same engineering under both — the register costs a finish choice, not a different product.

Finish the room, not just the table

Add the credenza on ring legs for catering and equipment, and the lectern for townhalls. Ordered together, handles, trims and foils stay in one language across the room.

Approve samples on site, then freeze the spec

Lacquered glass, 3d-foil and chrome shift under real lighting: approve physical samples in the room — the cost is fully credited when the order is confirmed. Then freeze modules, top type, top-access version and companion finishes in writing.
