In the Pigreco range, a meeting room is something you order, not something you build. Nucleo freestanding panels connect to each other and stand on the floor: in the configuration shown by Martex they enclose a space of 3100 x 3900 mm — about ten by thirteen feet — inside an ordinary open plan. When the team changes, the room moves with it. No permits, no drywall, no dust.

Around that room, the collection drawn by Mario Mazzer covers the rest of the floor: operative desks and managerial workstations on a single central beam, four-seat benches, oval and trapezoidal meeting tables, social tables with stools. Tops in melamine, matt lacquer or Fenix rest on compass, trestle, bridge or rectangular Loop legs — white, black, grey metal or oak —, and the same modularity runs through Pigreco and Pigreco Loop.

La Mercanti configures Pigreco floor by floor for US projects — and when the layout includes a room, it arrives on the same truck as the desks.

FAQ

How deep can a single Pigreco desk be specified?
Standard desks run 47.2 to 78.7 inches wide with depths of 31.5, 35.4 or 39.4 inches, and a square single top of 63 by 63 inches is in the range for managerial positions. All heights sit at 29.5 inches.
What is a double-opening flip-top for?
It is a power unit set into the meeting table that opens from both sides, so people seated across from each other reach sockets without turning the housing around. Martex lists it among the declared electrification options.
Can lockers be opened without a key?
Yes. Galaxy lockers take three lock types — standard key, combination or badge — and can be optioned with mail slots, name tags and internal charging compartments, which suits desk-sharing floors.
Is there task lighting that belongs to the system?
An LED system mounts above the tabletop and gives a soft, diffused light for reading and working; lamps and sockets are fed through an electrifiable leg that keeps the cables concealed.
Do finish samples carry a cost?
Samples of melamine, lacquer, Fenix and screen fabrics can be requested through La Mercanti; their cost is credited in full when the order is confirmed.

How to receive Pigreco in a building that never stops working

Offices rarely empty out for a furniture delivery. This sequence brings a Pigreco installation into a live floor without stopping the people on it.

Book the dock, not just the date
Agree the loading dock or freight elevator window with building management before the Pigreco truck is scheduled; components arrive in flat, protected packs.
Sequence by zone
Have the crew assemble Pigreco benches one area at a time, so teams shift to a finished zone while the next one is built.
Raise the rooms last
Nucleo freestanding panels go up after the desks are placed — the room is positioned around real furniture, not around tape on the floor.
Power before people
Connect electrifiable legs, flip-tops and LED lights, then test every socket run on the beam before workstations are handed over.
Walk the floor with the checklist
Close the delivery by checking each Pigreco position against the order file with La Mercanti's coordinator, noting anything to be adjusted.
