Most acoustic panels absorb one range of frequencies well and the rest politely. The sound-absorbing screen of the Loft series is built differently: the core is thermoformed polyester fibre of variable density, specified to absorb a broad spectrum of wavelengths, and it is covered in Mirage fabric, 100% polyester.
In an American open plan that is the difference between a screen that stops sight lines and one that changes the room. The fixing is spelled out too: zamak clips, powder coated white on the upper part and matt black on the lower telescopic one, biting into zamak bushings set inside the edge of the panel — so the screen can be moved when the layout does.
Where a visual break is enough, the same series offers linear screens in 18 mm melamine and shaped ones in 25 mm, on desks with melamine or frosted tempered glass tops.
