Every executive office has one drawer that matters more than the others. On Siena the manufacturer photographs it deliberately: a black saddle leather drawer fitted with a security key, with matching keys and matt black knobs on the sideboard cabinet. In a room where offers, valuations and personnel files cross the desk daily, a lock is not a nice touch. It is the difference between a document being filed and a document being left out.
The rest of this luxury executive desk earns its place too. The top folds down on one side to become the structure — beech plywood curved in a mould, faced in MDF, finished in saddle leather or lacquer — while a cabinet carries the other. Sizes 200, 220 and 240 cm by 120 deep in Macassar-type ebony, walnut, leather or lacquer. Designed by Ludovica+Roberto Palomba in 2023, brought to American offices by La Mercanti.
