The Grand More conference table carries a cable column, and Estel paints it the same way on every order: Carbon Glacé, always, even when legs and frame are in Metallo Luxury. Three veneer sizes: M6202 at 70⅞ × 35⅜, M6206 at 94½ × 39⅜ and M6207 at 110¼ × 47¼ in; in back-painted etched glass or ceramic it grows to 94½, 110¼ and 126 in and pairs the column with a top access that opens on both sides. The desk that matches it is listed with the executive desks here: same legs, same frame, same four tops.

Those legs taper from 2⅜ to 1⅝ in toward the foot, in powder-coated metal or Metallo Luxury. A perimeter frame of powder-coated aluminum, 2⅜ in high, and the legs and frame stand as one carrying structure that does not lean on the top. The top itself, ⅞ in thick with R35 rounded corners, sits flush inside that frame and comes in four materials: wood veneer, clear glass, etched glass painted on the back, or ceramic. Estel credits the design to its own R&D team.

From the meeting down to the single desk: the Sharing table, 55⅛ in deep and 126 or 141¾ in long, with a sound-absorbing panel that rises from the center; the rectangular conference tables above, with their column; the square tables, 47¼, 55⅛ or 63 in a side, or 78¾ in with the column; the desk on a service unit, P90 or L205, at a right angle; and the desk alone, 63, 70⅞ or 78¾ × 35⅜ in, with the same legs and tops, so one executive suite can take the desk and the boardroom table in a single finish.

La Mercanti USA asks for the floor-outlet position from the electrical drawings before it fixes where the column stands.

FAQ

How thick is the glass on a back-painted top, and what sits under it?

A thin sheet over a thicker layer. On Grand More the back-painted etched glass is a ⅛ in sheet laid on a ¾ in support, and the price list draws that section without naming what the support is made of, so this page does not name it either. The transparent glass is listed differently: a single pane, ⅜ or ½ in thick, with no support drawn beneath it. For anyone writing a specification, those are two different sections to describe, and each gets its own line.

Can the fabric on the Sharing panel go in a washing machine?

Estel answers for its fabrics as a group, not for this panel in particular: in Product Care most polyester and Trevira CS fabrics are washable at 140 °F, while wool fabrics are not washed at all. The fiber of the Sharing panel is not declared anywhere in the price list or on the website, so those are the rules Estel sets for its fabrics, not a statement about what this one is made of. What is written for every fabric: liquids are removed as fast as possible, ordinary detergents and solvents are never used, and a stain goes to a dry-cleaning specialist rather than to the office kitchen.

Which desk sizes does the Estel price list actually print?

Three, and nothing in between: 63, 70⅞ and 78¾ in long, all 35⅜ in deep and 29⅛ in high, codes M6001, M6000 and M6003. The same three lengths come back in the desk designed to rest on a service unit, with its own codes for the right-hand and left-hand version, and those versions repeat the 35⅜ in depth and the 29⅛ in height. The price list prints no length between them for either desk, so a plan for this collection starts from one of the three.

Do the outlet modules come with American sockets?

Not as printed. The modules Estel lists for Grand More carry Schuko-EU power outlets, three per module, and a footnote in the price list notes that other national standards come on request, quoted case by case. Every module ships with a free connector for the 220 V supply, fitted with an interlock. For an American office that footnote is the line that matters, and La Mercanti puts the socket standard on the request before any other detail of the order.

What happens when someone presses the button on the Sharing table?

A panel rises. The 2019 catalog calls it a central sound-absorbing panel lifted with a button, and the price list specifies a fabric cover. Estel describes the result as a quick transformation from a meeting table to positions for shared work, and the catalog gives the two uses in numbers: up to 10 or 12 people in a traditional meeting, or 6 people working alone or together. The same photograph shows the panel raised, green, above a dark central compartment.

Cleaning the metal legs and aluminum frame of Grand More, by Estel’s own rules

What Product Care 2020 allows on the metal legs and the aluminum frame of Grand More: a soft cloth, a neutral cleaner, no solvents, no acids, and 70 percent alcohol when the surface has to be sanitized.

A soft cloth and a neutral cleaner

Light dirt on the legs of Grand More, whether powder-coated metal or Metallo Luxury, and on the aluminum frame around the top comes off with a soft cloth and a neutral household product. Estel lists cromated, satin, specially galvanized and painted metals under the same heading, and gives them the same first rule: nothing stronger than neutral.

Dry it evenly

After the damp pass the surface is dried with a dry cloth, rubbing in a uniform way rather than in one spot. Estel repeats the general advice for all its materials here: the cloth moves horizontally or vertically, never in circles, because the rubbing concentrated on a point is what leaves a visible trace on a smooth metal.

Stubborn marks without solvents

A mark that resists the neutral cleaner is treated with a product free of solvents, and before it touches the leg or the frame it is tried on a hidden area. That test is written into every section of Product Care, and the aluminum section sends cleaning back to the same rules as the metals, test included.

Four things that never touch it

Estel bans the same four from metals and aluminum alike: acid products, alkaline products, steel wool and dishwashing detergent. The ban covers both leg finishes of Grand More, the powder coating and Metallo Luxury, because Product Care files chromed, satin, galvanized and painted metals under one heading.

Sanitizing at 70 percent

When the structure of Grand More has to be sanitized, Estel allows alcohol at 70 percent on a soft cloth, followed by rinsing with a cloth dampened with water, again after a trial on a hidden spot. For everyday dust a soft cloth is enough. Sharp objects scratch the finish; hot or wet objects left on the frame damage it, and no product repairs that afterwards.
