Ask any facility manager where an executive chair ages first: the armrests. ICF answered with a detail worth reading twice — on the Una Chair, the leather armrest cover fixes to the underside with adhesive velcro, centered on top, tensioned, pressed on. The manual states it plainly: the cover can be removed and changed at any time. Ten years in, the chair that carried a thousand meetings gets fresh armrests instead of a replacement order — asset preservation written into a strip of velcro.

The logic runs through the whole range: castors and glides snap in and pull out by hand, every component dismantles for repair, and the die-cast aluminium frame is the part built to outlast them all. Do the three Una families share the same frame?
Yes — die-cast aluminium side and cross elements throughout, in the same six finishes. What changes is the way you are carried: a tensioned membrane on Una Chair, shaped cushions on a carrier membrane on Una Executive, and a flexing monocoque with elastic suspension on Una Plus Executive.
How far does the tilt go, and can I lock it?
Up to 13 degrees around a pivot point set well forward to keep pressure off your legs. A side knob tunes the spring to your weight, and the mechanism locks in four positions plus upright, with a safety lock — though ICF suggests leaving the tilt free for constant back support.
Why do the four-star bases come with glides only?
Manufacturer's rule: four-star bases take 1.5 in nylon glides with a soft rubber core — nothing else. They are the meeting and visitor models, meant to hold their position at the table instead of drifting mid-conversation.
Which metal finishes can I specify?
Six: polished (47), chromed (55), and powder-coated white (100), black (115), bronze (120) and silk grey (R22). Frame, base and armrests ship in one matching code, down to the chromed zama caps on the casters.
What base styles exist across the range?
Four setups: the four-star base on glides for meeting and visitor seats, and the five-star base with casters or glides for working positions. All die-cast aluminium; the Una Plus Executive pairs exclusively with the five-star base on 2.6 in braked casters.
