Look at an upholstered executive chair from the side and you are looking at something most specifications never name. On Sit it Sitland names it: the chair front is carried on a supporting canvas, available black or white. It is the layer the visible upholstery works against — and the reason two chairs in the same leather can read differently across a boardroom.
Around it, a collection drawn by Sergio Bellin and Dorigo Design and covered by a Registered Design Patent: steel and aluminium frame, cushions built in differentiated densities, armrests blended into the seat as the family's signature, and executive, managerial and meeting versions on declared depths.
Specifiers get one contact and one document: La Mercanti assembles the package, Sitland signs off the configuration, and the schedule stops being a moving target.
