Specifying seating for a US project means answering one question before any other: what does the foam comply with. Fasem states it on the technical sheet of Electa — all padded products use flexible polyurethane foam and comply with the British Standard or, for the American market, with California Technical Bulletin 117/2017 Section 3.
That is a line a specifier can put in a submittal, and it travels with the chair rather than with a promise. The rest of the construction is equally explicit: padded steel backrest, beech plywood seat, and a covering that differs inside and outside.
Four versions are declared — office, high back, on five castors with gas adjustment or at fixed height on a cross base — for meeting and conference rooms (conference seating), executive and operative offices, waiting areas, guest seating, dining rooms and bar counters.
