Bespoke: size, colour, finish

Most lobby seating solves five people with five chairs and four gaps. The largest Pix solves it with one piece: a round ottoman 69.7 inches (177 cm) across, 17.9 inches high, declared for five seats. No back means no wrong side; no arms means no assigned places; one volume means one cleaning path and one line on the order. Around it the family scales down through 53.9, 37.4, 34.3, 26.4, 21.7 and 19.3 inches, so a lobby can echo the same shape at three different sizes.

Behind that single line on the order sits a catalog built over fifteen years: Ichiro Iwasaki drew Pix in 2010, and Cubo, Mini and Outdoor joined later. Every piece can be covered in fabric, leather, coated fabric or a material you supply; every piece rides on glides; and the version built for terraces owes its weather resistance to a water-repellent inner lining. Add the height-adjustable side table, a lounge sofa beside it, and a waiting area is complete. La Mercanti works the plan area by area for US projects, with delivery times confirmed in writing at order confirmation.

FAQ

How many sizes does the round Pix come in?
Seven declared diameters: 19.3, 21.7, 26.4, 34.3, 37.4, 53.9 and 69.7 inches — with seat counts rising from one to five as the circle grows.
Is there a square or rectangular option?
Yes: Pix Cubo, declared at 21.7×21.7 in for one seat and 43.3×21.7 in for two — the straight-edged members of an otherwise round family.
How do the pieces work together in one area?
They simply sit side by side: the manufacturer speaks of infinite combinations, and with round, square and rectangular pieces in seven diameters a composition can be extended or rearranged at any time.
What is the top of the Pix Table made of?
MDF, 0.5 in thick and 19.7 in across, on a round powder-coated metal base — with a gas-lift mechanism that changes the working height.
Does the environmental certification cover the whole collection?
No, and the sheet says so plainly: the environmental product certification — low chemical emissions to UL 2818 — is noted as valid for seating only. The table sits outside that scope.

How to specify Pix on a purchase order without ambiguity

Five steps from floor plan to order lines — diameter, seats, covering, each in its place.

One line per size
Each diameter gets its own row with quantity: never blend two sizes into a single line.
Write the dimension, not the nickname
Order by the declared measurement rather than 'the big one' — numbers survive revisions, nicknames do not.
State indoor or outdoor on every row
The outdoor build is a specification choice, not an afterthought: mark it where the quantity is.
Attach the covering reference
Fabric, leather or coated fabric named exactly beside each row — a swatch in a drawer is not documentation.
Reconcile the rows against the plan
Count seats per area before sending, then let La Mercanti confirm each line in writing with delivery times.
