Robin Rizzini keeps winning in Chicago

American juries discovered him early. Robin Rizzini took a Silver Prize at Neocon — the Chicago contract-furniture fair — back in 2006, added a Canadian Innovation Award in 2007, and returned in 2018 to collect Gold and Silver in the same year. Between those trips, the Genoa-born, Milan-based designer earned Italy's Compasso d'Oro in 2014, built his career through Antonio Citterio's team and the Metrica partnership, and has signed furniture for homes and offices on three continents since going independent in January 2018.

US offices can shortcut the account: his client list includes Arper, Pedrali and MDF Italia, and for IVM Office he designed the Hito executive system — all names La Mercanti ships to American workplaces.
