European faucet collections often arrive in the United States as an afterthought, adapted late if at all. Sixty by CEA Design takes the opposite route: within the range there is a thermostatic bath and shower group fitted with the Acqua Stop System, listed by the manufacturer specifically for the USA and Canada. The collection lands here already speaking the language of American bathrooms.

Designed by the Belgian architect Glenn Sestig, these designer faucets are made entirely of stainless steel and extend across the whole room: progressive, two-handle and sensor-operated basin mixers, shower and bath groups, bath-rim versions, remote controls, separate spouts, a two-way showerhead, plus a monolithic washbasin and mirror in Travertine Titanium marble.

Finishes come in satin, polished and the exclusive Black Ivory, drawn against designer ceramics in the same washroom. For executive washrooms, hospitality suites and residential projects alike, La Mercanti ships Sixty to the United States with coordinated delivery and English-speaking support.

FAQ

What is the Acqua Stop System version of Sixty?
It is a thermostatic bath and shower group that CEA Design lists specifically for the USA and Canada markets, so the collection can be specified on American projects.
Is Sixty available in a dark finish?
Yes: alongside satin and polished stainless steel there is the exclusive Black Ivory satin finish, whose tone the manufacturer likens to a prized coffee variety.
Does the collection cover the whole bathroom?
Beyond faucets it includes shower and bath groups, remote controls, spouts, a two-way showerhead, a monolithic marble washbasin, a marble-fronted mirror, hooks and an electric bathrobe warmer.
Who is the designer behind this collection?
Belgian architect Glenn Sestig, whose Ghent-based practice is known for calm, precise forms; he also designed the marble washbasin and mirror.
Why stainless steel rather than plated brass?
The finish is the metal itself: AISI 316L stainless steel, satin or polished, with no plated coating layer over a different base material.

How to pair Sixty finishes with stone and wood

Five steps to match satin, polished or Black Ivory with the rest of the room.

Start from the dominant surface
Identify the material that owns the room, then choose the Sixty finish as a counterpoint to it rather than in isolation.
Test Black Ivory against warm stone
The manufacturer pairs Black Ivory with Travertine Titanium marble; if your project uses a different stone, order samples and verify the match.
Reserve polished steel for controlled light
A polished Sixty surface reflects everything around it; in rooms with strong daylight, satin keeps the picture calmer.
Carry one finish through every item
Faucets, showerhead, hooks and bathrobe warmer from the Sixty range should share a single finish across the room.
Document the combination
Record finish, stone and lighting choices in the spec sheet so the approved pairing survives value engineering.
