Daniele Del Missier, the name in the fine print of your spec package

Every specification package has two kinds of names: the ones on the cover and the ones in the fine print. Architects spec Tecno's W80 partition for its acoustic ratings and its five industrial patents; fewer read the drawing credit. It says Daniele Del Missier — Buenos Aires, 1952; IUAV Venice; eleven years directing R&D at Faram before joining the Centro Progetti Tecno in 2013.

The W80 earned the Red Dot Design Award and the ADI Design Index in 2015, and his Clavis table system extends the same engineering into the workstation. Through La Mercanti, U.S. projects get the wall with the fine print already read — data sheet, ratings and author included.
