Black polypropylene 4D arms on That’s it Executive at a desk

That’s it Executive by Quinti: 4D arms in black polypropylene, edged in aluminum and topped with a soft pad

Quinti

Alegre Design

On the QX1307SO3 version of That’s it Executive, the arms move. Quinti molds them in black polypropylene, runs an aluminum edge along each one and tops them with a polyurethane pad, and Quinti calls them 4D. The company presents them as the simple way to raise the comfort of the chair, the softer option set against fixed arms cast in aluminum. Alegre Design drew the chair, and Quinti makes it in Cesa, in the province of Arezzo, Tuscany.

Listed with the other executive office chairs we carry, it rests on a structure of die-cast aluminum, polished or painted in Metalli Quinti colors. The back is cold-cured polyurethane on an aluminum carrier, upholstered on both faces; the seat, 2 in of cold-molded foam with double side stitching, glides forward and back for depth. The self-weighing synchro-tilt is built into the underseat with a lock in 5 positions. Overall height is 40 1/2–45 1/4 in, and seat height is 16 1/2–20 7/8 in.

Each chair is ordered by its arms. QX1307SO0 has none; QX1307SOS has fixed die-cast aluminum arms, which accept X130PAD, an optional set of two pads; QX1307SO3 carries the 4D set. Light, with five spokes, or Leggera, with four, are the bases, both polished aluminum on casters. At the conference table of an executive office suite we specify the armless model, and at the desk either armed one. La Mercanti notes, seat by seat, which places on the order take the 4D arms.

FAQ

How far does the seat on That’s it Executive slide?

Far enough to change seat depth from 18 7/8 to 22 in. The slider is standard on every That’s it Executive, so the depth can be set for a tall user or a short one without changing the chair.

What is inside the backrest of That’s it Executive?

Cold-cured polyurethane foam carried by an aluminum frame, chrome or painted. Quinti upholsters it on the front and on the back in whatever fabric its range offers, which is why the chair looks finished from behind as well.

Which standard does the gas cylinder of the chair meet?

The gas cylinder complies with DIN 4550 and exceeds level 4, according to the Quinti data sheet. It is the part that raises and lowers the seat, worked by a small lever below the seat.

Does That’s it Executive carry a fire rating?

Yes. The Quinti data sheet shows Italian class 1IM approval, the reaction-to-fire class used in Italy for upholstered furniture.

Can the armless version work at a conference table?

It can, and that is how we specify it: QX1307SO0, without arms, around the conference table, on the same base and finish as the chairs at the desk, so the meeting room reads as part of the same office.

Building the order code for That’s it Executive

Five lines turn That’s it Executive into a complete Quinti order. Start from the arms, then add base, finish, accessory and upholstery grade.

Start That’s it Executive from the arms

The arm choice gives the code. QX1307SO0 is the chair with no arms, QX1307SOS has fixed die-cast aluminum arms, QX1307SO3 the adjustable set. The rest of the order follows from this first line.

Pick Light or Leggera

Two bases are offered, both polished aluminum on casters: Light, with five spokes, and Leggera, with four. Write the base next to each code, since any version can take either one.

Choose polished or painted

The die-cast aluminum comes glossy or painted in a color from the Metalli Quinti palette. Write the finish beside each code, because it is part of what identifies the chair on the order.

Add X130PAD where it fits

X130PAD supplies two covered pads for the fixed aluminum arms. Add it to the QX1307SOS lines that need it.

Close with the upholstery grade

Quinti offers upholstery in grades 2, 3, 5, 7 and IM. Any fabric from the range can be used except Crepè, and the IM grade is the one with the 1IM fire approval.
