Rest a forearm on a KYG128 and the pad beneath it has a soft-touch finish, which is how Kastel names this armrest. It is one of two arms the Italian maker offers on Key Go: a 2D arm that adjusts and also extends, drawn in the technical sheet with a PU pad on top. It comes on this code alone, and only together with black mesh and a seat that slides for depth, so choosing the arm also decides the rest of the build.
Listed with task & ergonomic chairs, Key Go rests on a seat of rigid polypropylene, cushioned in polyurethane foam that holds its shape, below a back frame of reinforced nylon. Seat height travels from 16 1/2 to 20 in on a gas cylinder, seat and back rock as one on the synchro tilt, its stiffness set by a tension regulator, and the lumbar support slides up or down. The chair stands 39 3/8 to 42 7/8 in tall and needs 26 3/4 × 22 1/2 in of floor, the dimensions to work with when an open-plan workspace is laid out.
Read the line-up from the arms down. KYG125 and KYG225 carry adjustable 1D nylon arms, ride on self-locking casters with no rubber tread, and differ only in mesh color: black for the first, light gray for the second. KYG128 stays black and adds the longer-reaching arms, the seat slide and rubber casters that do not lock. A removable seat cover in Jet fabric is available as an add-on. We also roll Key Go up to conference tables, or park one beside a desk for coworkers who stop in. La Mercanti lists on the order which seats get the 2D arms.

Between 39 3/8 and 42 7/8 in, depending on where the gas cylinder sets the seat. All three codes share that range, since they use the same back and the same mechanism under the seat.
A 3D polyester mesh that Kastel declares fire-retardant, in black or light gray depending on the code. It is fitted over a reinforced nylon frame, and the padded seat wears matching 3D fabric, declared fire-retardant as well.
The synchro tilt links seat and back so they recline as a pair, and a tension regulator under the seat sets how firmly the back resists. The same mechanism also handles seat height and has a control that locks or frees the tilt.
Yes. Every Key Go carries a height-adjustable lumbar support behind the mesh, so it can be moved up or down to meet the person sitting. It comes standard on all three codes, with no separate part to order.
Yes, and we use it that way: there is one back height, so a meeting room and the workstations around it can share the same chair. La Mercanti often places Key Go at conference tables when a client wants one model across the whole floor.
Key Go comes as KYG125, KYG225 or KYG128. Five steps to write an order line that pins down arms, mesh color, casters and the optional seat cover.
Decide between the adjustable 1D nylon arm and the 2D arm. The 2D arm exists only on the KYG128, so choosing it fixes the code before anything else is considered.
With 1D arms, color picks the code: KYG125 is black mesh and black seat fabric, KYG225 is light gray. With 2D arms the chair is black, because KYG128 comes in black only.
KYG128 also has a seat that slides to set its depth, worked by lever 4. KYG125 and KYG225 do not have it; if the person sitting wants depth control, KYG128 is the code to write.
KYG125 and KYG225 roll on self-locking casters with no rubber tread; KYG128 rolls on rubber casters that do not lock. A single rubber self-locking caster is sold separately as code 040080.
The removable seat cover is a separate line in Jet fabric, category C, in four variants: KYG30J, KYG31J, KYG32J and KYG33J. Write the variant code next to the chair code.
