Aava, born from the first collaboration between Arper and Finnish designer Antti Kotilainen, is a curved veneered plywood chair. Developed for both residential and contract use, the seat shell is made from precompounded wood which is milled to variable thicknesses and then sheathed in veneer to accentuate its sinuous profile.
